Lori A. O'Donnell

Lori A. ODonnell, 54, died unexpectedly at her Taunton home March 20, 2017. She was a life long resident of the city and a 1980 graduate of Taunton High School. Lori was the wife of Edward J. ODonnell of Bridgewater, the daughter to Robert and Marie (Demers) Gilday and sister to David Gilday of Taunton. She is survived by her aunt Joan Gilday, currently of Raynham, uncle Fred Demers of Biddeford, ME and uncle Paul Ducharme of Las Vegas, all formerly of Taunton. Additionally she leaves sister-in-laws Rosemarie Dyke and Kathleen Bertelli, and brother-in-law Michael ODonnell, all of Bridgewater. After high school, Lori graduated from the Burdett School of Boston. She then worked at New England Life, NHD Hardware Stores, Overseas Adventure Travel and Grand Circle Travel of Cambridge and Boston before enjoying the last 18 years at Princess House of Taunton. Lori was a significant travel enthusiast over her lifetime, relating to both work and pleasure. She greatly enjoyed the company, camaraderie and friendship of workmates wherever she was employed, most especially all of the wonderful people of the Princess House family. Visiting hours will be held on Friday March 24, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at St Marys Square) in Taunton. Her funeral service and burial at Mayflower Hill Cemetery will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Loris memory made to a charity of your choice, would be deeply appreciated.
