Betty PIXLEY Obituary

PIXLEY, Betty Ruth Wilber, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep July 5, 2015, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Mrs. Pixley was born in Olean, New York, on May 3, 1926 to Clarence and Winifred Wilber and attended the US Cadet Nurse Corps in Bayonne, New Jersey. She was a registered nurse for over 50 years at the Catta-raugus County Health De-partment, NY, Indian Health Services, AZ, and the Pinel-las County Health Depart-ment, FL. Mrs. Pixley is sur-vived by her 2 daughters, Michelle (Bob) Pascucci of Lexington, KY, and Dawn (Steve) Cushman of St. Petersburg, FL; her 3 grand-children, Cristen Pascucci, Matthew (Rebekah) Pascucci, and Elise (Scott) Sebastian; 6 great-grand-children; a sister, Carol (Larry) Nenno of Plant City, FL/Olean, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane (Dewey) Pixley; son, Terrence Lee Pixley; and sister, Helen (Bud) Fortner. A Remembrance Celebra-tion will be held Sunday, July 12, at 3 p.m. at the Village Green Clubhouse, 2001 83rd Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33702. Mem-orial services will be held in Olean, NY, at a later date.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
