My first job after college was with the Tampa Tribune. I was hired as a lab tech and advanced to a photo journalist. Leland and I became good friends from the moment we met in 1967 until his passing. We last talked on the phone a few weeks earlier. I find it hard to know he's gone, but he still lives in my memories and in heart. Farewell my special friend.
