Ann Broom Obituary

Ann Louise Broom, 82, died May 9, 2011. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and lived in Palm Bay. She was a member of the Palm Bay Lions Club and was a Lioness. She belonged to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Mel Broom; sons, Michael, Larry and Tom; daughters, Susan, Ann Marie and Frances; sister, Mary Gillen; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Space Coast Early Intervention Center, 3790 Dairy Road, Melbourne, FL 32904. Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. May 14 at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne, followed by a service at 5 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. May 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palm Bay.
