Catherine Ferris Obituary


CATHERINE JOSEPHINE FERRIS Catherine Josephine Ferris, 81, died October 8, 2010, in Fort Pierce, Florida. Catherine was born in Camden, New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1994. She was a homemaker and will be remembered and sadly missed by all her friends at the arcades. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Gale Norman Ferris of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, William Ferris of White City, FL, Timothy (Ruth) Ferris of Crozet, VA, Gary (Corena) Ferris of Jensen Beach, FL; daughters, LeeAnn (Klaus) Dewedoff of Port St. Lucie, FL, Janice (Mark) Whitman of Audubon, NJ, Pamela (Pete) Simmonds of Antigua; sister, Josephine Recupero of New Jersey; brother, William DePietro of Florida; grandchildren: Jilian, Corena, Mark, Samantha, Leola, Pamela, Tyler and Kevlar; step-grandchildren: Laura, Andrea and Curt and great-grandchildren Cameron, Kayla, Candace and Kendal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice at 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981, envelopes will be available at viewing www.TCHospice.org. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 13th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Haisley Chapel. A Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral Home.
