Howard Beville Obituary

Howard "Sonny" Beville Jr., 58, died Feb. 16, 2008, in Tampa. He was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce. He was a graduate of Dan McCarty High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He established Beville Citrus and was a rancher. He served on the Wachovia Bank board of directors and was a member of the St. Lucie County Extension Advisory Committee. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Gail Beville of Fort Pierce; son, Brian Beville of Fort Pierce; daughter, Felicia Beville of Fort Pierce; brother, Richard Beville of Fort Pierce; sisters, Gladys Beaver of Palm Bay, Jo Anne Quarles of Orlando and Ann Chesnut of Fort Pierce; mother, Barbara Beville of Fort Pierce; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard J. Beville Sr. Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Sheriff Youth Ranch, P.O. Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064, or to St. Anastasia Catholic School Endowment Fund, 401 S. 33rd St., Fort Pierce, FL 34947. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at Westside Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Feb. 22. A reception will follow at the Orange Avenue Baptist Church Social Hall. Arrangements are by Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service. A guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com.
