Joseph Comella Obituary

Joseph Michael Comella, 46, died July 7, 2013, at the VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach. He was born in Cleveland, grew up in Port St. Lucie and lived in Vero Beach for three years, coming from Tampa. He was a graduate of Whitestone School of Commercial Diving in New York and became a licensed commercial diver. He attended Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, then continued his studies at the University of Tampa. He became a broker, specializing in commercial sales and leasing in the Tampa/Hillsborough County area for 19 years. Survivors include his son, Joseph Phillip Comella of Sothington, Ohio; stepdaughter, Victoria Martin of Warren, Ohio; and mother and stepfather, Faye H. Skripak and Dr. Richard Skripak of Vero Beach. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny M. Comella. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Assembly of God Church, 6767 20th St., Vero Beach, FL 32966. Services: A private celebration of life will be conducted for the family. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. A guest book is available at www.strunkfuneralhome.com.
