Mary Bohn Obituary

Mary "Cassy" Maxine Bohn, 86, died May 18, 2011, at her home. She was born in Quay and lived in Okeechobee since 1985, coming from Apache Junction, Ariz. She lived in Indian River County until 1944 when she moved to California. Before retirement, she was a librarian for the Centry School in Okeechobee. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Okeechobee. She was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include her nephew, Kenneth Kinchen; and nieces, Lois Alexa, Joan Caldwell, Marsha Kinchen and Vernell Mathis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Miller; second husband, Glen Bohn; daughter, Carolyn Donaldson; stepson, Glen Bohn Jr.; brothers, Marvin Kinchen, Leonard Kinchen and Robert Kinchen; and sister, Allie Mathis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Okeechobee Health Care Facility, 1646 Highway 441, Okeechobee, FL 34974. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. May 23 at the Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home in Okeechobee, followed by a service at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Gene Rodenberry officiating. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. May 24 at Winter Beach Cemetery in Winter Beach. A guestbook is available at www.buxtonseawinds.com.
