Sybil Chandler Obituary

SYBIL CHANDLER Sybil Chandler, 87, died January 20, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, FL. She was born in Centre, AL. Graduated high school in Miami, FL, and has lived in Port St. Lucie since 1988, coming from Sylva, NC. She was not only an incredible southern cook, accomplished seamstress, and homemaker, but also a marvelous square dancer who was a member of the Sylva Steppers in NC and in later years enjoyed line dancing with a group in Port St. Lucie who entertained at many local nursing homes. Survivors include her beloved son, Thomas Michael Chandler and daughter-in-law Stacey Francine of Port St. Lucie; grandsons Charles Christopher Chandler and wife Mary of Port St. Lucie; Thomas Michael Chandler, Jr., of Hollywood, FL; great-grandchildren, Victoria Christine Chandler, Blake Edward Elmore and Julia Ann Chandler. She was preceded in death by her husband George Patterson Chandler. Arrangements are through Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie. Visitation 5:00PM- 7:00PM January 24, 2011; Funeral Service 10:00AM, January 25; Cryptside Service to follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice of Port St. Lucie. Paid Obituary
