Wallace Ross Obituary

Wallace Arthur Ross, 57, died June 8, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. He was born in Vero Beach and lived in Vero Beach. He was educated in the Indian River County public schools. He was a member of the Jones Temple Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Gifford. Survivors include his wife, Kathaleen Ross of Vero Beach; sons, Caliuas Arthur Ross of Vero Beach and Jamaal Levor Ross of Orlando; daughters, Tonya Broxton of Vero Beach and Teneka Demps of Orlando; brothers, Horace Ross Jr. and Alvin Ross of Orlando; sisters, Deloris Colley, Ruthie Ross, Janice Miller and Sandra Ross, all of Wabasso, and Beverly Raiford of Sebastian; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Horace Ross and Minnie Bell Ross. Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. June 17 at Jones Temple Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. A home-going celebration will be at 11 a.m. June 18 at Tabernacle Ministries Church in Vero Beach, with Elder Pernell Harden, pastor of Jones Temple, presiding, and Bishop Gossie Freeze delivering the eulogy. Interment and dove release will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach. Arrangements are by Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart. A guestbook is available at www.thornesmortuary.com.
