Please accept our sincere sympathies. Irene Mashburn was a special lady to us and we so enjoyed when she was able to sing and share some of the songs she had written with her church family at Glendale Baptist Church. Our prayers are with you and your family. Heard she was sung all the way to heaven by family voices. May God bless each one of you during this time.

What a great loss for Irene's family and those of us who were not family by blood, but was always treated like family by Irene. What a fine, loving, compassionate and sweet lady she was. I know that even though she graces heaven with her presence and is singing with the angels, all of her goodness lives on forever in her children and family. Know that you are all thought of and held close to my heart for comfort in the days/weeks/months and even years that may come. May they be filled with loving memories to offer you comfort. Love you all.

Prayers are with the families of Auntie Irene Mashburn. How I loved my Auntie Irene. She was and always will be the best Aunt hands down. She was like a second mom to me, my brother and my sisters. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. I thank God that she knew Him as her Lord and Savior and resides in Heaven because of it. She lived her life as a Christian should and I know I will see her again someday. She was always the Lady no matter the situation and very soft spoken. Life without her in it will be a lot sadder but my memories of her are all happy. I loved you in life and will continue to love you in death my beautiful Angel....Auntie Irene!

James, Maryann, Carol and families,
What an honor to be able to call Irene my friend. She shared her passion for life and family without reservation and brought sunshine and smiles wherever she went. I hope the wonderful memories you all created together will bring you comfort in this difficult time. I will miss her and her blue guitar greatly.
Peace and blessing,
