GABRIEL DEROSA Obituary
MR. GABRIEL CHARLES DEROSA, 82, of Vero Beach passed away February 25, 2014 after a lengthy battle with leukemia. A devoted family man, Gabriel was a member of First Church of God in Vero Beach and the Heron Cay Golf League. But, he will be especially remembered as a diehard Boston Red Sox fan! Survivors include his wife Therese C. DeRosa; daughters Christine DeRosa and Justine Bourdeau-Stratoudakis, and her husband Tony Stratoudakis; son Greg DeRosa, and his wife Maureen; sisters Maryann Romano and Barbara (Charles) Gorman; brother Charles (Natalie) DeRosa; grandchildren Stephen Lampronikos, Paul Bourdeau, Stephanie Sample, Kevin and Tommy DeRosa; and a great- grandson Stephen Lampronikos, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Inc., 4360 North Lake Boulevard Suite 109, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. The family will receive friends today, 5-7 PM, Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a funeral service beginning at 7 PM, Pastor Bill Jerrils officiating.
