Rita Bonnette Obituary

Rita F. (Collette) Bonnette, 89, of Elaine Street, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, in Lanessa Extended Care after a short illness. Her husband, Leon Oscar Bonnette, died in 1991.

She leaves 2 daughters, Carol R. Baird and her husband Roland A. Baird of Webster, and Linda L. Bialy and her husband John E. Bialy of Haines City, FL; 9 grandchildren, Tammy Weiss, Annette Bratica, Kristine Place, Tracy Hakala, Jason Rohr, Beth Marashio, Dawn Bialy, Douglas Baird and Diana Fishwick; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Doris Petrillo of Sturbridge; nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised in Southbridge, one of the 6 children of William and Alma (Lataille) Collette. She lived here most of her life.

Mrs. Bonnette was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and of its Ladies of Saint Anne.

The funeral will be held Monday, December 13, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be private. Donations in her name may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main St., Webster, MA 01570.

My deepest sympathy to Rita's family. I only knew her when she came into the Dollar store (where I work)with her brother-in-law at least once a week or so.
