Eric Bottcher Obituary
WORCESTER - Eric Leif Bottcher, 25, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at UMASS Medical Center.
He leaves his parents, Leif E. Bottcher of W. Barnstable, and Theresa M. MacLellan and her fiancé Michael Macaruso of Worcester; two sons, Eric Leif Bottcher, Jr. and Aaron Lee Bottcher; three brothers, Danny Arpin and Anthony Bottcher both of Worcester and Cayden Bottcher of W. Barnstable,a sister, Merle O'Neal of Worthington; a niece Kiley Arpin and nephew Elias Arpin. He also leaves his grandmothers, Esther T. (Murphy) MacLellan and Sandra (Sinclair) Bottcher Cutler; three aunts, Debra D'Alessandro and her husband John, Linda MacLellan and Dawn Bottcher; an uncle, John MacLellan, Jr.; several cousins, including David Maurais, Jr., who was more like his brother; and his extended Macaruso family, Michael, Jr., Kyle and Blake.
Eric was predeceased by his grandfathers, John L. MacLellan, Sr. and Donald Bottcher.
He was born in Worcester, attended and graduated from Worcester Public Schools and belonged to Immaculate Conception Church. Eric worked with his dad at his construction company, and had just completed and received his OSHA Training Certificate. He enjoyed fishing, lifting weights and motorcycles.
Eric was a sweet and loving young man who chose to be an organ donor. His mom, dad, and family pray, that the gifts of life he gave will do many wonderful and loving things that he so strived to do. May you rest in peace Bunk…you will forever live on in our hearts xoxo.
Funeral services and burial for Eric will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
