Joyce A. (LaMere) Frankian, 57

WORCESTER - Joyce Ann (LaMere) Frankian, 57, of Worcester, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 300 Barber Ave. She is survived by her children, William J. Potenti and Tina L. Potenti, both of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Kenzie, McKenzie, Dominic, Dane, Darci, Kaylee and Kylie; brothers, Andrew LaMere and Clifford LaMere, Jr.; sister, Sally Lavallee; daughter-in-law, April Potenti; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a granddaughter, Drew Potenti. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Clifford and Shirley (Beaureguard) LaMere.

Mrs. Frankian worked at David Clark Company as a component coordinator before retiring. Embracing her Native American ancestry, she enjoyed life as a free caring and kindred spirit. She was a crafter and knitter, who also favored all kinds of music, particularly blues and rock. She enjoyed spending summers camping and at Salisbury Beach. Her family and grandchildren were her center of joy and her life's treasure.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. At Joyce's request, memorial contributions, may be made to Make-a-Wish Foundation, 181 Park Avenue, Suite 12, West Springfield, MA 01089. How sad it is that we grow older and lose touch! we spent many many years together as children, there are to many memories to list!
