Great memories I had when he was teaching at Bartlett High School, spending time with him teaching or after school.

Mr Meciak had a very large influence on my life
In 1979 my senior year at Bartlett High he asked me what I planned on doing after graduation
I told him I would like to get into printing
He set me up with an interview at The Evening News in Southbridge, I worked there for two years, and met a guy who got me a better job in Worcester. I worked there for eleven years and I met my wife.
I always appreciated him going out of his way to help one of his students.

I am so glad I had spent some time with the Big Guy this past spring, talking about the pasts. We had some laughs and just being part of the Meciak family was special. I would visit Mr Meciak in his classroom prior to coaching at Bartlett High School often. ..Thanks big guy for being you..
