Jessica Cosman Obituary
Grafton - Jessica Anne Cosman, 22, of Grafton, MA. passed away due to injuries sustained in an accident on January 7, 2017. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Cheryl (Rochefort) and Paul Cosman. She leaves behind her loving parents, her brother Joshua Cosman, his wife Magen Cosman and her two nephews Cameron and Jackson of Shewsbury; her maternal grandmother Madeleine Rochefort of Yarmouthport; her boyfriend Alex Iocolano of Boston, many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and countless friends. All are welcome to attend calling hours on Saturday, January 14, from 2-6pm at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., N. Grafton MA 01536. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Jess' family asks that you make donations to the Jessica Cosman Scholarship Fund, c/o Central One Federal Credit Union, 40 South Street Westborough, MA. 01581 rather than sending flowers to help students in their effort to further their education in science. While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of your beloved Jessica whose tragic death at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses.
We ask for God's blessings on your family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence by remembering you do not walk alone.

I was devastated by this news. I have been Jessica's physician since 2013 and had the privilege watching her grow from a teenager/college student at BU to an amazing capable young woman who I admired and saw some of myself in regarding her love of the sciences.
I apologize I will not be able to attend the calling hours over the weekend, but your family is in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
