Dear Matt & Gail, and the Dickson Family,

Maria & I and the Hake Family send our condolences.
We are so saddened to hear the loss of your Father. He has and always will forever in my life, be one of the most influential person to me. He has provided me with many opportunities. He has had a profound lasting positive attitude in my life and I will forever be grateful. It is because of him that I have been blessed with having the opportunity to have played sports which I know has contributed to being the reason for my success in what ever I pursue. I have so many exciting and great memories. He would always included me when I was with Matt, such as taking us to the yearly Manhasset Lacrosse Tournament were we would watch the NCAA College Teams play after the H.S.game.It always rained on that day, but it was always enjoyable. I am sure Matt remembers when we drove with his Dad and he would stop for some errands. When he got out, Matt would change the station on the radio to rock, and we would each have one of his Dad's crystal mints that were stashed in the ashtray. I still buy those mints and think of him when I have one. The best errand stop was at the cheese shop in Huntington. Matt and I would go inside with his dad and he would let us sample different types of cheeses. The best was when we would swipe a finger under the all natural peanut butter machine that would grind the nuts. These were just a few of the many memorable moments, but most of all I will always be thankful for the kindness Mr.Dickson has graciously given me, and the entire Dickson Family.
Love, Steve& Maria Hake and family

Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris.
We knew Chris and Bill while they lived in Keowee Key, Salem SC.
Chris was an excellent bridge player and we played weekly at each others homes. Bill was always very gracious and pleasant! We miss them and pray for God's comfort at this time of loss.
Would like to tell Chris that our daughter Laura and family attend St. Francis in Walhalla when they are here at the lake. They enjoy the small church.
Miss you Chris.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
