Though we hadn't talked in years, I'll always have the memories of our younger years. We spent a lot of time at each other's house. Your house was always full of people and love. Sounds like you turned into a remarkable adult. My prayers go out to your family. You'll be missed. Beverly (Siegmund) Sherwood

So sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. She was a great colleague and hard worker. She helped get the Worcester Tree Initiative (at Tower Hill Botanic Garden) up and running in 2009, and supported it ever since. We will always be grateful for her knowledge and conscientiousness. She will be missed. My sympathies to the family.

Through the years we shared lots of laughs, joys and even a few tears with our group of ladies at Tower Hill, as well as our delicious baked goods.None was more welcome than Sharon's fabulous zucchini bread which would mysteriously appear in the kitchen for all to share and enjoy.

During the last few years, Sharon also shared her daily texts of the newest member of the family with us, and anybody could see what a blessing Charley was to the whole family and how much Sharon adored her. I'm so glad she had the grandma experience to light up her life.
Rest in peace my friend.

I worked with Sharon at Tower Hill Botanic Garden for more than five years; she was very dedicated to her work and family. She handled her diagnosis with courage, and gave inspiration to all around her. It was a honor to know and work with her; my sincere sympathy goes out to Eugene, Jessica, Jeffrey and the entire family. May you find solace in your many warm memories and through all the lives she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

If anyone needed anything, Sharon would provide, even a place to stay. Sometimes you didn't even have to ask. A good, kind soul.

Sharon was one of the finest people I have ever known and certainly one of the hardest most focused people I have known. As Finance Director of the Worcester County Horticultural Society she kept a close eye on the many complicated accounts of the Society. She and I met almost every day discussing a myriad of subjects, Sharon was a great confidant. The bravery she exhibited after being diagnosed with ALS was remarkable. She loved her family almost as much as she loved her snowmobile. Well maybe she loved her family more. I will remember her with great fondness.
