Gerard Donnelly Obituary
GROSSE POINTE, MICHIGAN - Gerard L. Donnelly, son of William Donnelly and Kathryn Glynn, passed away at 67 on June 13, 2015.
Beloved husband of Virginia Donnelly and devoted father to William Donnelly and Andrew Donnelly, he is also survived by his brother William Donnelly of Newton, MA and sister Jane Donnelly of Weston, MA along with his first wife Carol Donnelly.
Gerry was born and raised in Worcester, graduating from Classical High School in 1965, Holy Cross in 1969 and receiving an M.B.A. from Boston College in 1971.
During Gerry's thirty year career with Ford Motor Company, he was the New England Regional Manager from 1986 to 1990 and the National Advertising Manager from 1995 to 1998 in Detroit. He retired in 2001 and really enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren and traveling, and he was an avid golfer.
Funeral services will be held in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, at a date yet to be determined.
