Donald Elmore Mundy

Cedar Hill, TN

Age 59, tragically passed away and went to be with our Lord on December 20, 2014.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William E Mundy and Willie Mae Mundy; and sister, Patricia Mundy Lazenby.

Don leaves his best friend and loving wife of 30 years, Karen Evans Mundy; his brother, Charles Ray Mundy; sister in law, Marcia Foster Mundy; nephews, Russell and Lee Mundy; his sister, Betty Jo Mundy Smith; and many more beloved nephews; nieces; great nephews; and great nieces.

I am so saddened to see this. I haven't seen Don since the Litton days. But he was so sweet, kind and always funny. My husband, know as Tomato, knew Don as well. I'm sure they played sports together. So sorry for your loss

Don, I'm sorry to hear of your passing. We didn't see much of each other after graduation from MHS. That last time was at the opening of the Miller Coliseum at MTSU. Rest in Peace my friend.

Karen, Although there is never a good time to lament the loss of family, the loss of Don came before it was supposed to happen. You had wonderful years together. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is one of the most trying situations. It is difficult to finds words of comfort that are adequate. I know you built so many incredible memories that can never be replaced nor repeated. There are so many things that we all will miss about Don. We will miss that quick smile, that funny laugh, and those sparkling eyes. I will miss him for you, the world will miss him, and more than anyone, his family will miss him. Don was special. People like him come along once in a lifetime. Everyone who knew him realizes this. Thinking of you, Cheryle Rogers-Hunt Beechgrove, TN

All my symphthy to Don's family. Don and I played a lot of football during our time at Madison High. We had a lot of good times. We had a rather unique relationship as his sister and my brother were married with two children. I guess we were Uncle in laws. Always liked and respected Don and although we haven't seen each other in many years I will miss him.
