Jeanne Harvis Dalton, born April 20, 1927, in Bowling Green, KY, passed away at the age of 87 on November 22, 2014.
Preceded in death by parents, John P. and Augusta Mae Harvis; brother, John P. Harvis, Jr., Dallas TX; sister, Ann Coffelt, Rockville, MD; and husband, John W. Dalton, Jr.
Survived by son, John W. Dalton III; sister, Mary Wade, Mobile, AL; and niece, Theresa Coffelt, Rockville, MD.
A 1985 graduate of the St. Thomas School of Nursing, served 30 years at St. Thomas Hospital.
Many thanks to staff and friends at Mary Queen of Angels and the Health Center at Richland Place.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at St. Matthew Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donation to Catholic Charities of Middle TN and Second Harvest Food Bank are appreciated.

Dear Family, I knew your Mom at St. Thomas for many years. She was a very efficient nurse and I always admired her when I was a student and as a young nurse . She was a mentor and always offered me good instructions and helpful suggestions in my work. She always had a open heart. Later in my career we shared laughter about the good ole days. She will be missed. I offer my deepest sympathy. Edna Turner, RN retired.
