First I would like to offer my condolences to Ruth and Jennifer and let them know there are no better neighbors than you'all during that time. I always looked up to to Jerry, as he was always grounded and knew what he loved. My son got a Go-cart one year for Christmas, we hid it in Jerry's shop and he built it before I could even help. Thats just how he was and where his heart was really at. Knowing he is not around will certainly be missed. The Hardens prayers and thoughts are with you.

Jerry was a great electrician,coworker and friend to all during his 21 years of service with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. He always had a smile and kind word for everyone and delighted us all in sharing his harrowing stories of flying down the drag strip. Having Jerry on our Maintenance Team made every day a easier and a lot brighter. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry and his family.

I met Mr. Pittman when I started working at the Nashville Airport. From the start, he helped me adjust to the job and always offered help with anything I needed. He was always super nice and friendly towards me. I am very sorry for the family's loss. Mr. Pittman will be missed.

a good friend and a great competitor. he will truly be missed in the world of super gas racing. with jennifer beside him, he as always a threat to leave you sitting on the line. remember a race in ohio jerry and jennifer where having burritos at the track and offered me and sherman to have lunch with them. good times is what i will remember with jerry and jennifer. he will be truly missed.
