Paul JACKSON Obituary

JACKSON, Paul K.Age 76 Columbia, Tennessee. April 16, 2010. Son of the late Alvin Jackson and Lona Jackson Jackson. He earned a degree in Business Finance from UT Knoxville. Mr. Jackson had a long career as President of the Federal Land Bank in Maury, Lawrence, and Williamson counties, was a certified Real Estate Appraiser, independent consultant for the FDIC, Real Estate Broker, member of the faculty of Columbia State Community College. Survived by children, Kay Jackson Artibee of Nashville and Neal Clay (Sherry Stubblefield) Jackson of Summertown; granddaughter, Madeline Grace Artibee of Nashville, who brought much love and light to her PaPa; former wife, Doris Byrd Jackson of Franklin, who he considered the love of his life; and sister, Mary Jackson Harris of Nashville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Jackson Bogle. Funeral services Monday at 11 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Graveside 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville. Visitation Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Memorials to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1864, Columbia 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to oakesandnichols.com.
