Jimmy was a kind, fair, and compassionate business associate and freind. I am glad that I was able to spend some quality time with Jimmy enjoying the Outdoors and the simple pleasures of life! We will miss him very much.

Jimmy always took the time to stop and talk to you no matter who you were or who you worked for. I will always remember him as a man of great character and sincerity. Words cannot describe my sorrow.

January 28, 2010

Dear Debbie:
Jimmy was a wonderful and very special friend of mine and of Tennessee Golf. He loved to play the game, and he always wanted to help our youth programs. He was a guardian angel of our building and headquarters at Golf House Tennessee, the youth course located next door to the Legends Club. Jimmy provided our every need for our heating and cooling. He and Lincoln always were there when we needed help- whether with kids, or Golf House, or anything golf. He always had a smile on his face and just never had a bad day when I was with him. He gave and never asked anything in return. The Lord says to be a cheerful giver, and Jimmy was indeed. I sure will miss his spirit and his friendship- a dear friend gone from here but never forgotten,

January 27, 2010

Debbie,
We just heard about Jimmy's passing and were so very sorry to learn of such a deep loss. Jimmy was a good friend of my dad, Hal Bee. Dad had one story after another about hunting and fishing that they did together. They also did business together and Dad always said that his best friends were the people he worked with. Jimmy was a true friend, visiting Dad after his stroke and always had such encouraging words. He was always there for Dad in every way. Please accept condolences from our whole family. His passing is a loss to so many who loved him.
With deep sympathy,
Cindy Bee and the Bee family.

Mr. Byram was so kind to my Dad, Jarrett Drake, who worked part-time for him in the late 1970s and early 1980s. When Dad had what would be his fatal heart attack in August 1984 and lived for 21 days, Mr. Byram brought his check to the hospital and gave it to my Mother each week until the week after he died. What a kind gesture from a thoughtful, carying man. I will never forget how much my Dad enjoyed working at Ed's Supply, how much he cared for "Mr. Jimmy," and this final kindness shown to my parents.

My sympathy to his family and friends. God bless!

Jimmy Byram was a great man. There's a poem that starts out, "Is anybody happier because you passed this way?" Thousands of people can say they were happier because of Jimmy. I knew Jimmy for over 40 years and was a business partner for 12 of those years. Jimmy was very instrumental in my success and I loved him for it.

January 27, 2010

Although we can never explain such a tragedy, there are certain things we can take away from this.
Everyday Jimmy would make a difference, a small gesture, an offer to help, always a reassuring smile, a pat on the back.
Everyday we have a hundred chances to do something that will make a small difference; that will stay in peoples memories long after we are gone.
Jimmy represents our hopes to become better, kinder, special human beings. His big heart and big smile, we will sadly miss. To his family and loved ones, we are Thankful to have been Blessed to know him. May God comfort you and heal your pain.
With deep sympathy -

My brother, Bill Clark, Jr. worked with Jimmy for 25 years. He had the upmost respect for his work ethic and family values. My father, W.H. (Bill) Clark, Sr., was a loyal customer and always considered Jimmy a pleasure to do business with. My heart goes out to his family.

January 26, 2010

Jimmy was a friend of my father's when I was a small child. My father respected and truly liked very few men, but he really liked Jimmy - as it seemed he was liked by everyone else who knew him. I will never forget his beautiful blue eyes and constant smile. Such a loss this is! God's Blessings to his family and friends.
