Nashville, TN
Passed away July 3, 2014 at the age of 87.
Preceded in death by husband, Ray Gupton; parents, DC and Frances Bobbitt; sister, Juanita Bobbitt Sparks.
Survived by daughter, Marsha Gupton; brothers, Ralph (Becky) Bobbitt and Wade (Venita) Bobbitt; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to service. Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 with Pastor Kevin Ulmet officiating, all to be held at First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland St. Interment, Spring Hill.
Donations should be made to the Benevolence Fund c/o First Church of the Nazarene.
Cremation and Funeral Services of Nashville, 885-0012. Chris Neighbours, Funeral Director.

Heavenly Father and Brother Jesus, thank you for the example Martha has been to her children, relatives, neighbors and friends and to me through Marsha. She has been your willing and serving daughter for these many years. May all of those of us who have found her faithful be just that kind of person that those who follow us will find that we,too, have been faithful to You. Now comfort those who are bereaved by Martha's loss, for Your honor and glory, Amen.

Even though I never had the honor of meeting Martha, I heard so much about her from so many people. She was a special person. Marsha, you are also a special person. You have been a great example of love as you have cared for your mother, especially after she came down with Alzheimer's. She is healed now and in Heaven bragging about you to your dad and everyone else. I pray that you find comfort in knowing this. Even though you will miss her greatly, you will see her again. In the mean time, many of us will be praying for you.
