C. Wood Obituary
Brentwood, TN
Age 83 - October 25, 2016. After a short battle with cancer, we lost our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather & friend. He was a graduate of Central High School - Class of 1952, member of the National Honor Society and the band. A smart but humble man, he was one of the most well respected men in his field working for American Paper & Twine for 47 years. A most unselfish man, he treasured his family and friendships. He found much enjoyment in cars, history and sports - most particularly Vanderbilt sports. Preceded in death by parents, Claude & Katy Wood; and brother, Paul Wood.
Survived by his wife, Juanita Wood; son, Michael Eugene (Beth) Wood; daughter, Rebecca Kay (Thomas H.) Coffey; grandchildren, Chris (Michelle) Meyer, Rebecca L. Morgan, Jon (Stephanie) Michael Morgan & Cameron (Emily) Wood; and great grandchildren, Savannah Meyer, Lincoln Hynes, Avery Wood & Declan Morgan.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, HICKORY CHAPEL, 5852 Nolensville Road, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Family & Friends will serve as Active Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Bob Doochin, Karl Frisch, Drake Porter & Jim McDaniel. Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, Directors 615-331-1952 Still Family Owned
