Dear Mona and kids, I don't know if you remember us but I remember you and Randy. This is Jada Jesse and I worked at Shelter. It has been 20 years ago but my memories of you and your family are very vivid. I just learned of Randy's death this week in the retirement letter from Shelter. I am so sorry for your loss. Randy was a very special person. He was so much fun to work with and he showed a lot of integrity in his work. My condolences and may you find comfort in your family. Love to your family. Jada

I have known Randy for over 20 years. We both were insurance agents in Lafayette. I would stop by and visit him when he was on University and then when he moved to Pinhook. We would visit in stores and just recently saw him pretty often while seeing my daughter who has a salon in his building. Randy was always a warm person with a big heart and I considered a great friend. See you on the other side man. RIP

Hello Mona. This is David Matthews,Elizabeth's brother. I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband Randy. You and he were very generous and thoughtful to offer me and my mother a short stay at your house after Katrina. I was worried about my mom suffering in the heat because of no electricity.it turns out we didn't have to do that, but that was a wonderful thing.
I just wanted to let you someone outside of your good family also cares
Bless You All,

We have always had a special place in our hearts for Randy and Mona from the years we were next door neighbors. We shared many wonderful times of friendship and laughter. Our warmth and love for you both has continued over the years.
Our hearts are filled with sadness for the loss of Randy. Randy and I were an example of how two people can think very differently politically and still talk with respect and kindness. Thank you Randy.

I will always remember Randy as "The Big Bad Wolf". He used to tease my sister and me, we would laugh so hard. He was a wonderful man and great friend to our family. It was wonderful to have been able to hang out with him a couple of summers ago. The thoughts and prayers of my family are with the Breaux family.
