Dana Blankenship Obituary
Lafayette - A Celebration of Life service will be conducted for Dana Irene Blankenship, age 52, on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 4:00pm at Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA 70506, in the Magnolia Room.
The Celebration of Life service will begin at 4:00pm, followed by a time of fellowship with family and friends until 7:00pm.
Dana was born in Norman, OK, and resided in Lafayette, LA. Dana went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Dana was employed with Leading Health Care of Louisiana as a home health aid, as well as being a nursing school student at South Louisiana Community College. Dana was a Broadcast Journalism graduate of the University of Louisiana.
Dana is survived by her son David Richards of Lafayette, her father, Robert Blankenship of Tyler, TX; and brother, Doug Blankenship of Plano, TX.
The family would like to thank the compassionate nurses, doctors and staff of Lafayette General Medical for their fine service to Dana during her 4 days at the hospital.
