Essie Richard Obituary
LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011,11 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church for Essie Mary Richard, 74, who passed away on August 17, 2011 at OLOL Regional Medical Center. She will be buried in Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Robert Seay will officiate the service.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons Timothy (Katina) Hebert, Clarence (Antoinette) Hebert, Kerry (Tracy) Hebert, David (Debra) Hebert, Michael Hebert of Lafayette, LA; daughters Charlene Hebert, Jennifer (Frank) Henry, Emily Hebert, Gwendolyn (Lee) Viltz, of Lafayette, LA; brother Earl Benjamin of Lafayette, LA; sisters Julia Randal of Lafayette, LA, Shirley Benjamin of Houston, TX, Mildred Batiste of Abbeville, LA; 35 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Richard, Sr., son Edward Hebert, Jr., daughter Beverly Hebert, parents Robert and Agnes Benjamin, bothers Phillip, Leroy, Peter, Robert, Jr., and Howard Benjamin and Carlton Collins; sisters Earline Benjamin and Margaret Clark
Viewing will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 7-10:30 AM at Kinchen Funeral Home.
