Glenn Prejean Obituary
Lafayette - Glenn "Gilles" John Prejean, 69, passed away on the morning of Saturday, July 15, 2017 at his residence in Lafayette, LA. At his request a private memorial service will be held with family and friends. Inurnment will be at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Scott, LA.
Gilles, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was a kind hearted person. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He was adventures and loved traveling. His sense of humor was one that was enjoyed by all that were in his company. Gilles was a "Class A waiter" during his career in the restaurant industry.
Gilles migrated to Canada for a short time but returned to Lafayette and would call it home until his passing. During his time in Montreal he developed an affinity for smoked meat. He also developed a love for Pepperidge Farm Cookies. Everyone that knew Gilles will miss him dearly but will always keep the memories in their hearts of times spent with him. When we reflect on his life we can truly say he loved, laughed and lifted many spirits.
Glenn "Gilles" John Prejean leaves lasting memories with his brother Jeff (Glenda) Prejean; nephew Scotty (Shelly) Prejean; great nieces Katelyn and Ashlyn; great nephew Garrett; relatives Cassy (Brad) Liverance and Alex and Cole. He also leaves lasting footprints on the hearts of dear friends Ruth, Barbara, Beverly, Linda, Jerry, Larry, Suzanne, Blake, Emma, Vincent, Ken, Ann, Newitt, and Brandon.
Gilles now reunites with his parents Leopauld and Joyce Trahan Prejean.
