Kay was always that crazy sweet person that I could call a friend in our school days at Ferriday, La. She always had that smile on. I will miss her as I am sure the whole class will this year at our 40 year class reunion. May God bless you all.

I worked with Kay at GOEA for several years. I will always remember her sharp wit and keen intelligence. May you be comforted by memories of a life well lived.

I grew up and went to elementary shool and some jr. high with your mom. I saw her several years back and we laughed at how silly we were back then. She was a special person and I know that you will miss her greatly. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Sam and Mac, I'm so sorry to learn of Kay's death. She was one of the most unique people I've known. It was great fun knowing and working with her at Elderly Affairs. Over the years when I would least expect it, I would run into her or hear from her. It was always a nice surprise and I will miss it. Peace to you and your family.

Sam and Mac-
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Kay and I worked together at GOEA for many years. She was one of the brightest, smartest, and funniest persons I have ever known. My prayers are with you that God will grant you the peace that I know that Kay has found in his presence now.

Kay and I attended Ferriday schools together. Any reminiscing of "the good old days" always included fond thoughts of Kay Richey. I pray that her family will find peace at this very difficult time.

Sam and Mac, it was a total shock to learn of your mom's death. I grieve with you. She and I worked together and were such good friends, along with Shavonne Schonberg and Bobby Fontenot at the Office of Elderly Affairs in the 80s and beyond. We lost touch for awhile and then reconnected lately. It was so good to hear from her, and then suddenly... this. May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Din LeBlanc

Mac and Sam. I'm so sorry. We fell out of touch over the years but I never stopped loving all of you and praying for you. I think of all of you often, tried to reach you, and was planning to visit Kay when I got the recent news. I love you guys, and I'm so sorry for falling out of touch. Aunt Elaine

Kay was always there for me--from catechism through law school. She was my friend and a bit of a childhood hero. I had not seen her for a long time, but I could never forget her. She was as much a part of my childhood as any friend.
Please accept my condolences for your loss. May our Lord Jesus Christ keep her close until we see her again, and may He comfort you until that glorious day.
