Kim and I were classmates at St. John in Plaquemine. Every year, we always seem to be sitting next to each other, and I remember what a fun person she was. I saw her several times afterward, and it was amazing how we could always fall into easy conversation and pick up our friendship right where we left off! I can say she was a real person and she was truly proud of her family, especially when they were moving around with the Marine Corps. I think she had a lot of Mrs. Miriam's enthusiasm in her, and since I just found out today, it is really a sad day for me. Prayers for all of Kim's family!

Kim and I met while taking chemo, we were diagnosed with cancer around 3 weeks apart. We became friends, we called each other "chemo buddies", she was a very strong woman and helped me find strength many times when I needed it. I will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I was so sorry to learn of Kim's passing. I saw Kim many years ago when we stopped in Slidel on the way back from FL. We visited like there had not been 20 years since we graduated high school. I enjoyed visiting with her then and most recently on facebook. I will miss her. I am very sorry for your loss. She was such a beautiful person.
