Elizabeth Berteau Obituary

Elizabeth "Patsy" Walz Berteau died March 26, 2014. A resident of Ponchatoula, she was born July 15, 1928 in rural Hammond to parents John and Mary Pearl Ingram Walz. She is survived by sons David (Jane), Paul (Linda), Alan, and Charles (Karen), daughter Susan (Rick), grandchildren Stefan and Celeste Berteau, Matthew and Anna Webb (Cory Buecker), and Kaitlyn and Christian Berteau, brother John Walz, Jr. (Elaine), and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Marvin Berteau. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Daniel Walz, and infant daughter Teresa. Friends will be received Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula. Interment will follow in the Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate donations to St. Vincent de Paul.
