Jewel Boswell Obituary
She was a proud member of the Faulkner County family of Sam and Clarice Wilcox.
Born into a large and loving family February 21, 1922, at Springhill, Ark., she moved to Camden in 1943, where she and her husband operated Boswell's Market for many years.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church and The Business and Professional Women's Club, and worked as a volunteer at Ouachita County Hospital.
In 2010, when her health begin to fail, she moved to Conway to be closer to her daughter and to her surviving brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D. O. Boswell; brothers, Doyne, Dennis, and Wiley Wilcox; and sister, Lou Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Bloodworth (Jim) of Conway; granddaughter, Dawn Esser (Joe) of St. Louis, Mo.; grandsons, Dan Bloodworth (Dana) of Conway, and Sam Bloodworth (Tonya) of Russellville, Ark.; brothers, Kenneth and Cecil Wilcox, both of Conway; sisters, Mary Mitchell of Murfreesboro, Ark., and Janelle Stanton of Conway; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.

Boswell's Meat Market was our only grocery store when I lived on Crestwood and newly married. I remember everyone there and of course I knew Mrs. Boswell as Mary Ann and I were growing up. To all the family, I am so sorry. It is hard to give them up but just think of where she will spend Christmas this year. She will be in Heaven with Mr. Boswell and the Lord. What a celebration that will be!!
