Nannie Lou Humphrey Catron, age 86, Hillsville, VA passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was born February 2, 1929 in Giles County, the daughter of the late Charles E. Felts and Clara Belle Ratcliffe Felts. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Humphrey; second husband, Leonard Catron, Sr.; two sisters, two brothers and a granddaughter. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Virginia Humphrey of Hillsville, VA, Wade and Wanda Humphrey of Hillsville, Leonard (Todd) and Linda Catron of Hillsville; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Todd Gardner of Hiwassee, VA; grandchildren, Brian, Gerald, Penny, Jeremy, Jessie, Eric and Emily; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Leah, Conner, Collin and Addison; sister and brother-in-law, Hester and Archie Grimes; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Edna and Harry Russell, Edra and Paul Humphrey, Eva Heldreth, Lucy Mae Humphey, Mary Ball and Mildred Baubiltz.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Reese Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Humphrey officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home or at the residence of Wade Humphrey, 2125 Coon Ridge Road, Hillsville, VA at any time.
