Benjamin O'Shane Obituary

Benjamin R. O'Shane, age 65, Home Camp Road, Rockton, Pa., died Monday, April 18, 2016, at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Born May 8, 1950, in Charleroi, Pa., he was the son of the late Benjamin O'Shane and Irene C. (Wroblewski) O'Shane. His mother survives and lives in New Wilmington, Pa.
He worked for the City of DuBois for 37 years, serving the past 26 years as the Water Treatment Plant Superintendent.
He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed going to the family camp in McKean Co. He was also a NASCAR fan.
Ben is survived by his brother, Thomas O'Shane and his wife, Kathleen of Boca Grande, FL.
There will be no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.

The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois, is in charge of the arrangements.
