Joseph F. DeFinis Jr., 59, of Vineland passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012.
Beloved husband of Teci (Woodman). Devoted father of Julie Ennals, Dayna DeFiore (Lenny), Mary Jo DeFinis and Denise DeFinis (Bobby Rupp). Proud grandfather of Reilly, Leah, Christian and Giamarie. Loving son of Assunta (Roselli) and the late Joseph Sr. Dear brother of Bob (Mary Anne) and Vincent (Rose). Joe also will be dearly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Joseph was born in Philadelphia and participated in the Mummers Parade in the Comic Division for years. He was a butcher by trade, but also enjoyed working on his farm, fishing, tinkering with computers and sci-fi. Above all, he found his most joy by being around his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road., Washington Township. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joseph's memory to the Disabled American Vets, Attn: Gift Processing, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301; or NAMI of Cumberland County, P.O. Box 474, Vineland, NJ 08362.

My condolences to Teci and the girls. I worked with Teci for 12 years and, though I didnt know Joe, I knew enough of his daughters to know the man had to have been a great father and that is the best thing any man could be. Prayers and thoughts are with all of you Teci.
