Epifanio (Naño) Rivera of Utuado, P.R/Hammonton passed away Thursday, Aug. 23,2012, surrounded by family.
Born in Utuado (Roncador), P.R, on Aug. 28, 1943, to Francisco and Angelica Rivera (Cortes). He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved his homeland and also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
He is survived by his loving children, Ana, Selynda, Junior and Anthony Rivera, all of Vineland, Nelynda Rivera of Puerto Rico, and Francisco and Edilia Rivera of Hammonton; brothers, Efrain and Anibal of Vineland, Raul and Miguel of Puerto Rico; sisters, Hilda, Carmen and Teresa of Puerto Rico; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Dionisio (Nisio) and Hector Rivera.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today.

siento mucho su perdida pero Biblia muestra que la muerte es un enemigo y Ninguno de nosotros puede escapar de ella ni vencerla, y casi todos hemos visto cómo le ha quitado la vida a alguien que amamos. Pero Dios es mucho más poderoso que la muerte. Él es nuestro amoroso Rescatador. En efecto, ya ha demostrado que puede derrotarla, y además promete acabar con ella de una vez por todas. La Biblia dice: en 1 corintios 15:26 ““Como el último enemigo, la muerte ha de ser reducida a nada” ¡Qué buena noticia saber que pronto no vamos a morir.
