Antoinette LaFalce Obituary
Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Pasqualina Cecere. Antoinette resided at Windham Falls Estates Groton for the past 13 years, previously residing in Forked River, N.J., for most of her life.
Antoinette was a seamstress for the former Bamberger's (now Macy's department store) for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Groton.
She is survived by her son, Joseph LaFalce and his wife, Diane, of Gales Ferry; two grandchildren, Jennifer Kitano and her husband, Quinn, and Dana Williams and her husband, Shane; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Bryce Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at the Mystic Funeral Home, Route 1, 51 Williams Ave., Mystic. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Groton Long Point Road, Groton. Burial will be private.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Pendleton and hospice for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, (www.brcfcure.org), or to a charity of one's choice.

Joe, Diane, Jen & Dana; I am so glad to have had the chance to know Gram. Yes she was & always will be Andy the Great. She was such a sweet lady and a joy to be around. She lived a long and happy life.
