Suzanne Ruth Denby

Goffstown, N.H. - Suzanne Ruth (Parant) Denby, 66, wife of Warren Kim Denby of Goffstown, passed away at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H., Monday, June 17, 2013, after a five year battle with cancer and lung disease.

She was born in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Barbara Louise (Moore) Parant and Richard Daymond Parant. She grew up in North Stonington and graduated from Wheeler High School. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree at the University of Connecticut in home economics and interior design. She worked for Singer Sewing Machine Company in product development and at New Home/Janome Sewing Machine Company as national sales training manager. After moving to New Hampshire, she became a homemaker and was the dedicated and beloved mother of three sons. She was a certified member of the International Graphoanalysis Society and owner of Expressive Threads, LLC.

She leaves behind her husband of 41 years and sons, Timothy of Goffstown, Nicholas and his wife, Katherine, of Contoocook, N.H., and Gregory of Jacksonville, N.C. She also leaves behind a beloved granddaughter, Leah of Contoocook. She is survived by her sisters, Deborah Tarentino and her husband, Louis, of Norton, Mass., Judith Parant and her spouse, Jan Westerhoff, and Meg Lemar and her husband, Ron, of Gales Ferry. Her brother, Joseph Parant, resides in Gales Ferry.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast St., Goffstown, N.H. Funeral services will be held privately.
