Mary Goff Obituary

Long Beach, Miss. - Mary Amelia Goff, age 78, of Long Beach, Miss. died Sunday, May 31, 2009, in Long Beach.

She was a native of New London, and retired from the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics.

She is survived by two sisters, Helen Maskell of Long Beach and Loretta (Robert) Hughes of Bradenton, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Donna and David Gauthier of Long Beach, Renee and Bill Fekete of Lawrenceville, N.J. and Monique and Tom Rowley of Connecticut; great nieces and nephews, Alissa and Greg Cuevas and their children, Briana, Landon, Kylah, and Tobias of Long Beach, Brett and Tendai Gauthier and their children, Thandeka, Nyasha, and Shaquille of Gulfport, Miss., Anthony and Shelli Gauthier and their children, Myles and Mady of Port Royal, S.C., Haley Gauthier of Long Beach, and Tara and Benjamin Rowley.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Amelia Goff, father, Phillip Goff, an infant brother, James Goff and numerous aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Long Beach. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Interment will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in St. Mary Cemetery, New London.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
