Joey I was very saddened to hear about your passing. You were my best friend from first through fifth grade. We had good times as kids. I will never forget you bro. Rest in Paradise my friend. You will always be loved and never forgotten.

RyRy & Scotty, now have 4 more Guardian Angels all together AGAIN to watch over them, and laugh at them, from what seams to be afar.
To Guide and protect them and to always be only an ear shot away.
Lots of love to you baby boy.
I smile every time I think about you laughing your head off at Ryan or Scott poking jokes at your parents and causing your dad to break out that vacuum
Or laughing at Kort when she was a baby and into stuff driving your mom nuts.
You are loved. And you are STILL and wonderful brother and son.

Joey:

It could be weeks, months, before we would talk...But as soon as we started, it's like we never missed a beat. That was special, brother. That's a true sign of a great friend.

The perfect example was the last time we talked. You were so excited about your new phone. You were the first one to tell me about the new Michael Jordan game on Xbox. You had looked it up on your new phone.

I remember when I finished watching "The Hurt Locker" and thinking how insanely good it was. First thought in my mind was to call you so we could review it. It's almost like we had our own Siskel and Ebert show. If I were ever to pick a co-anchor, co-podcast host, co-host, co-anything...It would've been you. Hands down.

I still think how comical, in the best and more innocent of ways, it was for you and my mom to be at home while I went to work, the time you visited me; being that you didn't speak Spanish, and she doesn't speak English. Thanks for visiting, boss.

You know that Beatles song? The one you and Nate used to make fun of me for getting chocked up? ("There are I places I remember"). I listened to it, and like a perfect movie reel, it played in my mind. I swear Joey, it was like a final episode of a TV show, slow motion and all, of all the good times we had together.

"there are places I remember..." I don't remember Palm Springs without remembering you Joey.
