James Smith Obituary

James E. Smith 89, of Indian Wells, California, passed away on November 2, 2010 in Palm Desert, California of natural causes. He was born on February 16, 1921 to James E. and Ora Lee Smith in Vichy Missouri. He married Patricia Dunwell on June 22, 1939 in Kingman, Arizona. He was in management for Chevron for 41 years. He served in the Navy from 1944-1945. He is survived by his daughter Sharon Rust; son James E. Smith Jr.; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Smith. Services will be held November 10, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, Riverside California with interment to follow at Olivewood Cemetery. Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries is handling the arrangements.
