I have not seen her in many yrs.Just can not believe she is gone.Was looking forward to talking with her at the next reunion. As I read all these entries today, You can see just how loved Linda was, She will be forever missed, crazy how fast time flys, seems like just yesterday that we were kids, always getting into trouble together,always asking Gene for money or food from the burger place next door, life is just to short, LOVE everyone, LIVE. life like there is no tomarrow, and LAUGH (Like Linda) Often,

Gramd-mama (i used to call her that when i was little) i will always remember coming down every year to see you, and every adventure that we would make, andbeing able to tell you everything and you just helping me do the right thing. even if you were in a different state, you made a BIGGG difference in my life. the one thing that i will always remember is going to those meetings with you and seeing you light up so much. you will always be in my heart. you are my one and only grandma and its hard to know your gone. i will see you one day, but untill then please look over me and help me go down the right path. im so proud of you in every way! i love you!!!! I'd like to extend my deepest sympathies to the Hardwick and Durnst families. I've had the pleasure of working with Linda for over the past ten years and during that time, I have learned a lot about her. Although Linda's past may not have been perfect, she later more than made up for that by being perfect in the most important things in life: her faith, dedication and integrity. Linda's genuine vibrancy and sincerity glowed in a profession often dimmed by fear and anxiety. Despite our loss is Heaven's gain, it is still a difficult loss. Linda, you are sorely missed and our office will never be the same again...

Linda was very important to me and my life. I met Linda at The Hacienda Valdez Treatment. She would be there every Tuesday night sharing her experience and hope, there was something very special in her sharing that made me listen and want what she had. I asked her to be my sponsor which she was for a long time. She new me better then I know myself. She was always there for me and for that I am so grateful. I just want to say I love you Linda with all my heart. I will miss you so much, and all the NewYears Eves we spent together. To the person who helped me with my recovery and then became my best friend I love you.

When you grow up with someone and stay friends throughout life to the present, you create a bond...a soulfull bond that goes on beyond life. Linda was spunky, full of life, had that sparkle in her eye and a contagious laugh you never forget. Linda we had alot of fun together and will always cherish those memories. You alway had such a positive attitude, lifted people up then they were down, and always found the good in everyone. I shall never forget you my dear old friend...you will be in my heart forever. When you grow up with someone from grade school and stay friends throughout life to present, there is something that bonds you together...our souls. Linda will always be in my heart and I will never forget that sparkle in her eye, her contagious laugh, her perky self and per positive attitude. Linda was an amazing woman. She was always there for anyone who needed help. And yes, that laugh, it was the kind of laugh that always reached her eyes and made you happy. Our condolences go out to family and friends. We were so saddened to hear of her passing. We will meet again Linda, Much love always......

When I looked at the glamorous woman's photograph in the Desert Sun today, I thought, "Gee, she sure is attractive!" Then my eyes locked with hers and my heart just sank.... Linda from Dr. Sumabat's office. Linda who was always cheerful, always joking, and had a laugh that just filled the office with joy. Dentist's offices can use that!
The last time I saw her she was wearing her skull cap, and I knew what she was fighting. Yet when I asked if she was going to fight it, she gave me a hearty, "You better believe it!" God bless her sweet, laughing, funny soul. Just knowing her a little meant a lot.

I'm so sad to hear of Linda's passing. I met her years ago at a meeting and we became instant friends. She was an inspiration to me and many others. I loved her laugh and I will miss her and never forget her. Sara D.

I've known Linda since I sold her her house. Oh what a joy she was to have as a client. But more important we became friends. I will never forget that throaty laugh of hers. What an example she was for all of us. I will miss you Linda.

Linda was my first room mate when I left home. I have very fond memories of going to mexico,concerts and just hanging out. Linda is a very compassionate person and will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing, we are losing far to many of our beloved classmates. My fondest memories of Linda is of a young red-headed firecracker at Raymond Cree Jr. High, full of life and always having something fun to say. My condolences to her family and loved ones. Linda has meant so much to our family for many years and especially to my daughter who was Linda's closest friend. There is always some quality one remembers about a person and in my memory it was her laugh! Linda was the perfect person to take to a movie, musical or play, especially local theater.... her laugh was contageous!
Linda was one who completely turned her life around and I am so proud of her for that! She was an inspriation to all of us. Our family will miss Linda in our lives but also thankful her suffering is over!
