Robert Rountree Obituary

Robert (Bob) Wells Rountree, 71, of Palm Springs, Calif. passed away in his home after a long, gallant battle with cancer on September 25, 2010. Born in 1939 to Earl and Shirley Rountree in Oakland, Calif. He graduated from Montebello High School where he was class president in his sophomore year. He moved east where he married and attended Rutgers University. He was an inventor and a top salesman of circuit boards. He is survived by dear friend, Pam Kline of San Diego, Calif.; his sons, Jeffery and Scott (wife Kimberly) Rountree; granddaughters, Jessica and Sara of New Jersey; brothers, James (wife Patricia) and William Rountree, all living in Palm Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob loved to play polo and most recently the game of golf. He will be truly missed. Thank you to those who work with Hospice and those who work with cancer patients. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society.

My prayers go out to Mr. Rountree's family. I enjoyed seeing him with his brothers when they would come and see me, always brought a smile.
