Sam was a great man and one of the best carpenters in the country and builder I worked for Jeff and Sam they invested a lot in me . I still owe them I'm do my best to honor his life.

Sam won't have any statues erected to him. Only a small note in an insignificant newspaper in the desert publicly recognized his passing. Anyone who knew my Dad, Sam experienced his generosity and the way he gave of himself will never forget him. If Sam could figure out a way to help you or make your life better he would never fail to give you his best effort to do so. As his son, I owe him more than anyone and I try to impart Sam's outlook to my three boys almost every day. He wasn't a good man but a great one.

Do not morn Sam. Rather celebrate his life. I knew him as the person at the coffe shop that made us all welcome. He did not know a stranger. He pulled us all together into a comfortable group. Something to look forward to each morning...a cup of coffee and some great company. Always remember...the beauty of a life well-lived never dies...it continues to embrace and inspire. You are so fortunate to have had Sam in your lives...may you find comfor in your loveing memories.
