I can still remember Jack walking his bassets along the edge of Balboa Park. Although we have lost contact over the past few years, I fondly remember our times together.

I have not seen Jack for decades, but we used to socialize in the 60s and 70s in San Diego and Laguna. I remember him as intelligent & personable--a gentleman in all respects--and very proud to be a Naval Officer. One could not expect to meet in a lifetime a finer person than Jack. May perpetual light shine upon him.
