EASLEY — Mr. John Anderson Armistead, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Harold Eugene and Priscilla Hamilton Armistead.
Mr. Armistead received his Bachelor's of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University. He was artistically and musically talented and had an inquiring mind, keeping himself well-rounded and knowledgeable on numerous subjects. He was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his sister, Myra Ann Armistead of Central; and numerous cousins.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Michael Hood officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley First United Methodist Church, PO Box 589 Easley, SC, 29641, or to the Shriners Children's Hospital Greenville, 950 W Faris Rd. Greenville, SC, 29605.
