Edith Mize Obituary

Mrs. Edith Clara Mize, 99, Dickson, Tenn., died July 14, 2017.
Mrs. Edith Mize was born in Monticello to the late Verda and Russell "Grover" Benjamin.
She was a homemaker for most of her life and traveled a lot with her late husband Donald "Don" Mize. She was of the Methodist Faith.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Betty) Holman, Bon Aqua, Tenn., daughters, Jody Wirt, Dickson, Tenn., Susie (Eddie) Rye, Erin, Tenn.; brother, James Benjamin, Chattanooga, Tenn.; sisters, Louise Atherholt, Vero Beach, Fla., Shirley Dellerson, Ocean Side, Calif.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mize is also survived by her loving cat "Dolly" who she often referred to her as, "Baby."
Visitation was held Sunday, July 16, 2017, from 2 - 6 p.m.
Visitation continued Monday from 10 a.m. until service time. Funeral services began at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Beck officiating.
Interment followed in the Johnson Addition of the Union Cemetery.
